Q*-Marine vessels

Q-Marine* technology uses calibrated sensors, sources, and steerable streamers to deliver exceptional image quality and repeatability.
Q-Marine is the quality of data acquisition required for reservoir evaluation using 4D-3D time-lapse seismic-technology.
Q-Marine uses sophisticated signal processing software for adaptive noise attenuation and real-time signal processing of the single sensor. Q-Marine records data from each single sensor in the streamer.
On-board computer processing systems perform sophisticated noise attenuation much more effectively than conventional streamer arrays, while preserving signal amplitude. Processing system compensates for individual hydrophone sensitivity variations and drop-outs.
Q-Marine system is the calibrated positioning made possible by streamer steering system with steering devices placed at regular intervals along the streamer cable. Streamer steering facilitates maintaining streamer separations with a reduced number of passes by the vessel for infilling purposes, and tighter vessel turnaround times at the end of each pass.
Q-Marine provides the operationally effective collection of higher resolution, more accurate data which can be repeated over the same survey area with confidence.
